## About

Base MCP connects ChatGPT to your Base account for read-only access to your store data. Once connected via OAuth 2.1 (with your login and consent through Base's screen), ChatGPT can check account details, look up orders, review product listings, and check inventory levels — all without leaving the conversation. The connector only reads data; it cannot create, modify, or delete anything in your Base account.

## How to use

1. **Add it in ChatGPT** Open base.com in ChatGPT's Plugin directory (button above), select + to add it and sign in if asked.

2. **Use it in a chat** Type @ in the composer and pick base.com, or start your message with its name. ChatGPT may also suggest it when it fits what you ask.
