## About

CNA provides a trusted, source-based news search and research service that allows users to search Central News Agency reporting directly within ChatGPT, stay informed about recent developments, and organize the evolving context surrounding specific people, events, and public issues.

Using natural language, users can search CNA news reports as well as content from CNA almanac, special features, and multilingual news coverage in English, Japanese, Indonesian, and other languages. The service also supports searches for standardized translations of foreign names and proper nouns, news photographs, government information, and fact-checking materials, helping users compare information across multiple sources and clarify uncertain claims. It can also organize retrieved information into event timelines, concise topic briefs, newspaper-style layouts, and relationship maps of people and organizations. These capabilities are suitable for news research, event retrospectives, issue tracking, information verification, content planning, and background research.

Responses preserve news headlines, publication dates, source information, and links to original articles whenever possible, allowing users to review the original reporting and conduct further verification. Some search results may come from government agencies, fact-checking organizations, contributed content, or other image sources; the system identifies their origins where available. The use and licensing of images remain subject to the terms, copyright requirements, and other applicable rules of their original sources.
