## About

HailPing lets you search its published hail storm reports for the continental United States. Find reports by state, city, date range, reported hail size, or distance from a US city or coordinates. Each result gives the storm date, largest reported hailstone, number of qualifying reports, and a link to the public report. You can open a report for its summary, affected cities and counties, and hail size distribution, or view a city market page with its recorded hail history and frequency band. The catalog covers published events from 2025 onward using Vaisala Xweather reports. Reported hail and modeled storm footprints do not confirm property damage, and this is not a forecast or warning service.

## How to use

1. **Add it in ChatGPT** Open HailPing in ChatGPT's Plugin directory (button above), select + to add it and sign in if asked.

2. **Use it in a chat** Type @ in the composer and pick HailPing, or start your message with its name. ChatGPT may also suggest it when it fits what you ask.
