## About

The Interactive Brokers app connects your IBKR account so you can ask about positions, balances, P&L, allocations and open orders, and get real-time quotes and historical market data. ChatGPT can draft trade instructions that are sent to your IBKR account for your review and approval; it never submits orders to the market directly.

## How to use

1. **Add it in ChatGPT** Open Interactive Brokers (IBKR) in ChatGPT's Plugin directory (button above), select + to add it and sign in if asked.

2. **Use it in a chat** Type @ in the composer and pick Interactive Brokers (IBKR), or start your message with its name. ChatGPT may also suggest it when it fits what you ask.

## Example prompts

- "IBKR, what's my P&L this month?"
- "IBKR, show my current allocation by sector"
- "IBKR, get a real-time quote for AAPL"
- "IBKR, draft a limit order to buy 100 shares of AAPL at $200 for my review"
