## About

Calendly's official hosted MCP server lets AI assistants list event types and available times, look up and cancel scheduled events, create single-use scheduling links, and read user and organization info. It uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE and dynamic client registration.

## Install

1. **Connect it in ChatGPT** Turn on Developer mode in ChatGPT (Settings → Security and login), open Plugins, select + and paste https://mcp.calendly.com as the MCP server URL, then sign in with OAuth. Add it to a chat from the composer's tools menu.

2. **Or add it to Codex or the API**

   Codex CLI:

   ```bash
   codex mcp add calendly --url https://mcp.calendly.com
   codex mcp login calendly
   ```

   config.toml:

   ```toml
   [mcp_servers.calendly]
   url = "https://mcp.calendly.com"
   ```

   Responses API:

   ```python
   import os
   from openai import OpenAI
   client = OpenAI()
   response = client.responses.create(
       model="gpt-6-astra",
       tools=[{
           "type": "mcp",
           "server_label": "calendly",
           "server_url": "https://mcp.calendly.com",
           "authorization": os.environ["CALENDLY_API_KEY"],
           "require_approval": "never",
       }],
       input="What times am I free for a 30-minute intro call next week?",
   )
   print(response.output_text)
   ```
