Google's managed Calendar MCP server gives AI agents access to Google Calendar data and actions. It is part of the Google Workspace Developer Preview Program and is configured with an OAuth 2.0 client in a Google Cloud project.

## Install

1. **Connect it in ChatGPT** Turn on Developer mode in ChatGPT (Settings → Security and login), open Plugins, select + and paste https://calendarmcp.googleapis.com/mcp/v1 as the MCP server URL, then sign in with OAuth. Add it to a chat from the composer's tools menu.

2. **Or add it to Codex or the API**

   Codex CLI:

   ```bash
   codex mcp add google-calendar --url https://calendarmcp.googleapis.com/mcp/v1
   [mcp_servers.google-calendar]
   from openai import OpenAI
   client = OpenAI()
   response = client.responses.create(
       model="gpt-6-astra",
       tools=[{
