## About

Linear's official hosted MCP server gives AI assistants authenticated access to Linear workspace data. It supports finding, creating and updating issues, projects and comments. Authentication is via OAuth 2.1 with dynamic client registration or a Linear API key as a bearer token, and a read-only endpoint is available.

## Install

1. **Connect it in ChatGPT** Turn on Developer mode in ChatGPT (Settings → Security and login), open Plugins, select + and paste https://mcp.linear.app/mcp as the MCP server URL, then sign in with OAuth. Add it to a chat from the composer's tools menu.

2. **Or add it to Codex or the API**

   Codex CLI:

   ```

   config.toml:
