## About

Linkup's official MCP server provides natural-language web search (standard or deep), webpage fetching with optional JavaScript rendering, and long-running deep research tasks. The recommended setup is Linkup's remote server, authenticated with a Linkup API key as a bearer token or URL parameter; a local npx server and an MCP bundle are also available.

## Install

1. **Connect it in ChatGPT** Turn on Developer mode in ChatGPT (Settings → Security and login), open Plugins, select + and paste https://mcp.linkup.so/mcp as the MCP server URL. Add it to a chat from the composer's tools menu.

2. **Or add it to Codex or the API**

   Codex CLI:

   ```
