## About

Lucid's official remote MCP server lets AI tools search, read, summarize and edit Lucidchart and Lucidspark documents, create diagrams and export them as images. It uses OAuth by default, with API keys for unattended use on Team and Enterprise plans, and also offers read-only and repositories-only endpoints. Team and Enterprise admins must enable MCP access first.

## Install

1. **Connect it in ChatGPT** Turn on Developer mode in ChatGPT (Settings → Security and login), open Plugins, select + and paste https://mcp.lucid.app/mcp as the MCP server URL, then sign in with OAuth. Add it to a chat from the composer's tools menu.

2. **Or add it to Codex or the API**

   Codex CLI:
