## About

Mixpanel's official remote MCP server lets AI assistants run analytics queries, read reports, create and edit dashboards, and manage cohorts, metrics, Lexicon data, feature flags and experiments. It is hosted in US, EU and India regions over Streamable HTTP. Users sign in with OAuth (PKCE), and service-account credentials are available in beta; an org admin must enable MCP for most accounts.

## Install

1. **Connect it in ChatGPT** Turn on Developer mode in ChatGPT (Settings → Security and login), open Plugins, select + and paste https://mcp.mixpanel.com/mcp as the MCP server URL, then sign in with OAuth. Add it to a chat from the composer's tools menu.

2. **Or add it to Codex or the API**

   Codex CLI:

   ```bash
   codex mcp add mixpanel --url https://mcp.mixpanel.com/mcp
   codex mcp login mixpanel
   ```

   config.toml:

   [mcp_servers.mixpanel]
   url = "https://mcp.mixpanel.com/mcp"

   from openai import OpenAI

   client = OpenAI()

   response = client.responses.create(
       model="gpt-6-astra",
