## About

Stripe's hosted MCP server exposes generic read/write access to much of the Stripe API plus documentation search and an integration planner. It supports OAuth for interactive clients or restricted agent API keys as bearer tokens. Sensitive writes such as refunds require human confirmation.

## Install

1. **Connect it in ChatGPT** Turn on Developer mode in ChatGPT (Settings → Security and login), open Plugins, select + and paste https://mcp.stripe.com as the MCP server URL, then sign in with OAuth. Add it to a chat from the composer's tools menu.

2. **Or add it to Codex or the API**

   Codex CLI:
