## About

Think an idea through out loud and watch it take shape on a MockFlow board: mindmaps, flowcharts, roadmaps, wireframes, journeys, charts and maps. It reads the board back too, so you can rearrange things and ask it to carry on from what is now there. Works in Codex Desktop and Codex CLI only.

Requires Codex — select Codex in the desktop app, or use the Codex CLI — and the free mockflow-bridge helper running on your computer. The drawing is done by that helper, talking to the board tab open in your browser, which is also why local files never have to be uploaded. ChatGPT itself cannot draw, even in the desktop app: a ChatGPT conversation runs on OpenAI's servers, and only a Codex session runs on your machine where the bridge is. For a quick board without leaving the browser, use Ask Mida on app.mockflow.com.

## Install

1. **Add it in ChatGPT** Open Plugins in the ChatGPT sidebar (web or desktop), search for “MockFlow” and select +. You'll be asked to sign in to any connected service on first use. Then type @ in a chat to call it.

- **board-conventions**: Use for ANY request to draw, diagram, map out, sketch, visualise, plan, chart, wireframe or brainstorm something - mindmaps, flowcharts, roadmaps, boards, screens, timelines - BEFORE deciding how to produce it. Also whenever editing or arranging anything already on a MockFlow board.
- **connect**: Check, pair or troubleshoot the connection between this machine and a MockFlow board. Use when board tools are missing or failing, when nothing appears on the board, or when the user asks which board they are connected to.
