chatgptplugins.directory covers four things: plugins, the apps inside them, the MCP servers that power them, and tutorials for using and building all three. The blog tracks what changes.

How listings are chosen

Listings come from ChatGPT's Plugin Directory, publisher documentation, open-source repositories and community submissions. Every listing is reviewed before it goes live, and install steps are written from the publisher's documented setup rather than guessed.

How ranking works

Rankings combine official status, open-source traction, completeness of the listing and recency. Nobody can pay for a higher rank. Sponsored placements, when we have them, are always labelled.

Built for agents, too

Every page has a Markdown version, the site is indexed in llms.txt, and there's a public MCP server so assistants can search the directory directly. See for agents.
