For agents

Built to be read by agents, too.

Everything on this site is public and needs no key. Point your assistant, coding agent or crawler at any of the interfaces below. Please cache responses and link back when you use the data.

MCP server

A read-only MCP server over Streamable HTTP, no authentication. Ask your agent things like “find a remote MCP server for Linear” or “how do I publish a ChatGPT plugin?” and it can search the directory and fetch full install steps.

https://chatgptplugins.directory/api/mcp
ToolWhat it does
searchSearch plugins, apps, MCP servers, tutorials and posts. Returns ids.
fetchFull Markdown for an id (e.g. mcp/github), including install steps and configs.
list_listingsList by type and category, top or newest; filter MCP servers to remote-only.

ChatGPT (developer mode)

Turn on Developer mode under Settings → Security and login, open Plugins, select + and paste the endpoint above. Choose no authentication. See the full tutorial.
