Check, fix and verify any domain's DNS, explained in plain English. DNS Doctor reads the records behind a domain, tells you what is wrong and why, and gives you the exact record to publish when there is one.
Scan a domain for email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), mail routing (MX), DNS health, blacklists and domain and SSL certificate expiry. Look up any record on the domain's own nameservers, see whether a change has reached resolvers in six locations, check reverse DNS for a mail server, count SPF lookups, audit the third-party includes an SPF record trusts, and read a domain's registration: registrar, expiry, nameservers and locks.
DMARC records are generated and validated by a deterministic engine that follows the RFCs. The AI writes the explanation, never the record. SPF is diagnosed but never rewritten, because a changed SPF record can silently cut off a real sender. Nothing is applied to your DNS: you publish every record yourself.
Connect your DNS Doctor account to work with your monitored domains from ChatGPT: add a domain, check its ownership record, and read the alerts DNS Doctor raises for record changes, expiry, blacklisting, registrar or nameserver changes and new email senders seen in DMARC reports. It also tells you when that report evidence says it is safe to move DMARC from none to quarantine and then to reject.
How to use
- 1Add it in ChatGPT
Open DNS Doctor - DNS & DMARC Tools in ChatGPT's Plugin directory (button above), select + to add it and sign in if asked.
- 2Use it in a chat
Type @ in the composer and pick DNS Doctor - DNS & DMARC Tools, or start your message with its name. ChatGPT may also suggest it when it fits what you ask.

Use for any question about a domain's DNS or email deliverability. Triggers include looking up a record (A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, SPF, DMARC) or a DKIM selector, checking whether a DNS change has propagated worldwide, the reverse DNS of a mail-server IP, a domain or certificate about to expire, hardening a parked domain, and every email-authentication symptom such as mail landing in spam, SPF PermError / "too many DNS lookups", DMARC stuck at p=none, a "550 5.7.515" or "550 5.7.1" rejection, DKIM failures, or a possible blacklist listing. Scans, fixes and verifies the domain against the DNS Doctor MCP server and returns copy-paste fix records generated by a validating engine, never a guessed record.
Things to ask
- “I just changed a DNS record — check from several locations whether it has propagated everywhere yet.”
- “Mail from my domain keeps landing in spam — diagnose it and give me the exact DNS records to fix.”
- “Is it safe to move my domain's DMARC policy to enforcement? If yes, give me the record to publish.”
