Connect ChatGPT to a Mac you control. Find and read local files, make checked edits, run terminal commands, and inspect their actual output and exit codes. Pair the free Ganado Bridge agent on your Mac using a short-lived code. Your Mac must stay awake and online, and the agent must keep running. Remote SSH commands use only aliases you explicitly configure on that Mac. Bridge uses your existing operating-system permissions: it is not a sandbox, and file or terminal actions can change or delete data. Requested file contents and command output are sent to ChatGPT through the authenticated relay. Disconnect or revoke the device to stop future access. The local agent is open source under MIT. No purchase or AI API key is required by Bridge; your ChatGPT plan and permissions remain separate.
How to use
- 1Add it in ChatGPT
Open Ganado Bridge in ChatGPT's Plugin directory (button above), select + to add it and sign in if asked.
- 2Use it in a chat
Type @ in the composer and pick Ganado Bridge, or start your message with its name. ChatGPT may also suggest it when it fits what you ask.
Things to ask
- “Find the project folder I specify on my Mac and summarize its files without changing anything.”
- “Make the change I describe in the file I choose, then read it back and check the result.”
- “Run my test command on the connected Mac and report the actual output and exit code.”
