Find the right boat type for the way you want to spend time on the water. MyBoatGuru helps first-time buyers and experienced boaters research which types fit their lifestyle, favorite activities, and practical needs.
On clients that support interactive apps, use the guided 10-step boat-finder quiz. Preferences you have already shared can be prefilled. Explore your purpose, boating waters, group size, activities, experience, propulsion, storage, budget, features, and maintenance preferences. Review your top three matches with reasons and tradeoffs, go back to change answers, or start again. Match percentages measure preference fit; they are not guarantees.
Prefer a quick answer? Ask for a text recommendation using the preferences you have shared. You can also explore detailed boat-type guides, compare two types side by side, and review an essential boating gear checklist.
