Openhandle reads public data from Instagram, TikTok, X, and Reddit. Ask for a profile, its posts, comments, followers, or search results, and get the same answer the Openhandle API returns.
You pick Test or Live when you connect. Test answers every tool with synthetic data, so you can try each one safely. Live reads real public data from the platforms.
With account access, you can also ask about your own Openhandle workspace: your usage, which requests failed, and which API keys are close to their limit.
Openhandle only reads public data. It cannot post, follow, like, message, or read private accounts. It cannot change your account or its settings.

Skills 2
- openhandle
Use when the user asks for public Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), or Reddit data (profiles, posts, comments, followers, search, trends), or about their Openhandle account (balance, usage, spend, request history, failed requests, API keys). Covers tool choice, Test versus Live, cost, paging, and errors for the openhandle MCP server.
- openhandle-quickstart
Integrate Openhandle public social data into an application's existing feature or a requested new feature. Use for provider replacement, reusable server client setup, Test verification, MCP connection, or moving an Openhandle integration from Test to Live.
