Prop Trading Intelligence

Prop firm rules, with sources

Prop Trading Intelligence answers questions about prop trading firms' evaluation rules from a hand-checked dataset. Every rule value comes with a quote from the firm's own website, a link to that page and the date it was verified there.

Use it to:

  • see which firms and programmes are covered
  • find programmes that meet conditions such as news trading allowed, weekend holding, no consistency rule, a drawdown type, a minimum profit split, no time limit or a fee refund
  • look up a programme's evaluation fees by account size, in the currency the firm lists
  • read one firm's rules: profit targets, daily and maximum drawdown, time limits, minimum trading days, consistency, payouts and more
  • get plain definitions of prop trading rules
  • calculate a position size from account size, risk and stop loss, or the gain needed to recover from a drawdown

It is for traders researching prop firm evaluations and anyone learning how prop firm rules work. No sign-in is needed.

Limitations: the dataset covers forex and CFD programmes, and firms are added over time. A rule that has not been verified is reported as not yet verified, which means unknown, not absent. Firms can change their rules between checks, so every value shows its verified date and is flagged once a re-check is due. Fees are never converted between currencies. Results are listed alphabetically and are not a ranking or a recommendation. The plugin does not give trading advice, place trades, access trading accounts or sell anything.

The data is Pipster Research (CC BY 4.0), published by Data Vantix Ltd, which trades as Pipster, a prop firm. Pipster's own programmes are included and are checked by the same method as every other firm's.
