Sóley is Iceland's tourism operator registry and live travel intelligence service. It searches Iceland's official licensed operator registers for accommodation providers, day tour operators and travel agencies across the country, with source attribution and freshness for every record. Registry listings are informational and are not automatically bookable. Only two clearly marked demonstration operators are currently bookable through Sóley. No real operator is currently bookable.
Sóley provides live Iceland conditions from authoritative sources, including weather, road conditions, safety alerts, earthquakes, aurora forecasts, avalanche conditions, air quality, flights, fuel prices, exchange rates, news and public transit. Curated multi-day itineraries, developed in collaboration with local tourism bodies in Iceland, connect routes to licensed operators near each stop.
Tourism operators are independent businesses that set their own terms and use their own payment providers. Each operator remains the merchant of record. Sóley is never the merchant of record, never receives traveler funds and never becomes a party to the traveler and operator purchase contract.
