WorkOS

Manage your WorkOS account

WorkOS connects ChatGPT and Codex to your WorkOS workspace so you can manage your account in plain language. No dashboard required.

Set up SSO and Directory Sync connections, create organizations and invite users, adjust auth policies, pull audit log events, and configure AuthKit branding.

Ask "why can't this org sign in with SSO?" or "List every org with a draft SSO connection" and the agent discovers the right operation and runs it.

Actions are scoped to the WorkOS team you authenticate with, using your existing dashboard permissions.

How to use

  1. 1Add it in ChatGPT

Open WorkOS in ChatGPT's Plugin directory (button above), select + to add it and sign in if asked.

  2. 2Use it in a chat

Type @ in the composer and pick WorkOS, or start your message with its name. ChatGPT may also suggest it when it fits what you ask.

Skills 1

  • workos

Use when the user asks for a WorkOS docs URL, term, or dashboard field (Sign-in endpoint, initiate_login_uri, Redirect URI, `WORKOS_*` env vars), or is implementing, debugging, or migrating WorkOS — AuthKit, SSO/SAML, Directory Sync, RBAC, FGA, MFA, Vault, Audit Logs, Admin Portal, Pipes (Connected Apps), Feature Flags, Radar (bot/fraud detection), webhooks, Custom Domains, running the `workos` CLI in agent or sandbox sessions (`WORKOS_MODE`, `workos doctor`), or migrating from Auth0, Clerk, Cognito, Firebase, Supabase, Stytch, Descope, or Better Auth. Also triggers on @workos-inc/* imports.

Things to ask

  • “Show my organizations and their SSO connection status”
  • “Debug why my SAML connection is failing”
  • “Create a test organization and user in my sandbox”
