The official Hugging Face MCP server connects assistants to the Hub to search and explore models, datasets, Spaces, papers and documentation. Users can add MCP-compatible Gradio Spaces as extra tools and optionally enable Jobs, sandboxes and repo creation via their MCP settings.

Turn on Developer mode in ChatGPT (Settings → Security and login), open Plugins, select + and paste https://huggingface.co/mcp as the MCP server URL, then sign in with OAuth. Add it to a chat from the composer's tools menu.
