Square's official MCP server gives agents access to the full Square API surface through three generic tools that discover services, inspect types and make API requests. A hosted remote server with OAuth login is available, or it can be run locally with a Square access token.

Turn on Developer mode in ChatGPT (Settings → Security and login), open Plugins, select + and paste https://mcp.squareup.com/sse as the MCP server URL, then sign in with OAuth. Add it to a chat from the composer's tools menu.
