This connector lets ChatGPT and Codex securely read from and write to QuickBooks Online.
Some things you can do:
- Connect multiple QuickBooks Online companies to the same agent (great for booking intercompany JEs)
- Choose read-only or read-write access separately for each company
- Create arbitrary QuickBooks transactions, including journal entries
- Bulk-create invoices or import credit card transactions
- Upload and attach receipts and supporting files to QuickBooks transactions
- Automatically fill in your firm-specific reporting template
- The craziest use case I tried was "Clone the contents of QBO A into QBO B", and… it worked
How to use
- 1Add it in ChatGPT
Open QBO Connector by Meridian in ChatGPT's Plugin directory (button above), select + to add it and sign in if asked.
- 2Use it in a chat
Type @ in the composer and pick QBO Connector by Meridian, or start your message with its name. ChatGPT may also suggest it when it fits what you ask.
Things to ask
- “Show me a profit and loss report for last month and summarize the results.”
- “How much did we spend by vendor last month?”
- “Find my active bank accounts and show the General Ledger activity for one.”
