Asana's official remote MCP server (V2) gives AI assistants read and write access to tasks, projects, portfolios, users, and status updates. It runs over streamable HTTP with OAuth. The earlier beta SSE endpoint was scheduled for shutdown in May 2026.

Turn on Developer mode in ChatGPT (Settings → Security and login), open Plugins, select + and paste https://mcp.asana.com/v2/mcp as the MCP server URL, then sign in with OAuth. Add it to a chat from the composer's tools menu.
